A StoryTelling Event was organised at Dr. GK Jayaram's house named 'Minni Mane' on 22nd September 2018.
Dr. Jayaram (Managing Trustee of Kasturi Trust) has been participating in Moth StorySLAM events in New York and has won the competitions too.
This event was organised on similar lines aiming to nurture storytelling and story appreciating among the audience in South Bangalore.
The Event  had stories both in English & Kannada.

The Event started around 7PM with introduction  by the host Dr. Jayaram after light refreshments.
Dr. Jayaram explained the inspiration, purpose & details about the event & his intention to make it a periodic event. He explained how this concept is so popular in places like New York - where people have to struggle to purchase tickets in hurry for the event since most of the times the tickets get sold out in minutes.

There were around 30 enthusiastic audiences. It was a clear sky evening on Minnimane terrace surrounded by lush greenery and cool breeze.

There were interesting stories by quite a few people starting from Dinesh K Shetty, Mr. Padmanabh Arakalgoodu, Dr. PR Vishwanath, Mr. Suri Hardalli, Mr. Ravi Puranik, Ms. Nirupama VG,  Dr. GK Jayaram and children Kum Neha, Kum Akshaya, Master Srikara.
